HOLIDAY AND SHORT STAY BUSINESS VISAS
If you want to visit Australia for a holiday or business purposes, you will need a visa. For stays of up to 3 months you can apply for the visa on-line from our website, providing you hold a passport from the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland.
A holiday visa is for visiting friends or relatives, touring Australia and sightseeing; it does not permit you to work. A business visa is for conferences, meetings or discussions; it does not permit you to work.
The visa costs £15/€20 per person and will take 24 hours to obtain through our website.

Q. What if I want to visit for more than 3 months?
A. For a visit over 3 months, you must get a visa issued directly by the Dept
of Immigration. Contact www.immi.gov.au
Q. Can I apply now if I am not actually travelling in the next few months?
A. Yes, the visa is valid for use for a period of 12 months from the date
it is issued
Q. Can I use the visa more than once?
A. Yes, the visa will be valid for multiple entries so each time you enter
Australia within this 12 months period you can stay for 3 months each time
Q. I am travelling with my family. Do we all need a visa?
A. Yes, each person who intends to visit Australia needs a separate visa.
If you have a child included on your passport who is travelling with you,
you will need to apply for two visas.
The visa issued to you will be an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority), which means you will not get a visa label in your passport. The visa is issued electronically by the Australian government and is linked directly to each individual passport number. Before you proceed to apply for an ETA, please ensure you have in front of you a current passport for each person travelling (valid for the period of your intended visit) and a credit card.
